@lmgenealogy@mstdn.ca I have a related expression I use often when enjoying the outdoors while hiking, swimming in the ocean, etc. “I like being in nature but I don’t like interacting with nature.”

@hankg I like interacting with nature (though I'm not ridiculous about it - nobody needs a pet tiger, sorry), but nature to me now looks like fleas.
