@WiteWulf@cyberplace.social it'd be a fine way to give a lot of public money to the shareholders of a basically worthless business. probably in the billions.
apart from people refusing to let the past go, there's little benefit to anyone here.
a lot like trying to resurrect British commercial shipbuilding.

@pavsmith@theblower.au yeah, I’m also a bit salty (pardon the pun) having grown up in a declining fishing town, an industry that got absolutely zero help from govt as it disappeared.
