@scarlet@plush.city being an immigrant does imply more paperwork, but at least you don't have to deal with American paperwork, which I realized is much more horrifying after helping someone with it.

@scarlet@plush.city Woah :blobfoxsurprised: A true superpower if I’ve ever read of one. It only took me a month and crying to a relative to finally submit our invalidity forms... How get that be something non-horrifying?? If you can cross that barrier its probably 80% of the entire process! (Assuming you don’t get denied, of course.) @Leviamicky@meow.social
