@BriBear@blahaj.zone @soph@grrl.me I had to think before replying. For me, it is less cult and more horror. I grew up immersed in the cultures around the world, then went to college at a school that had mostly international students. In college, I learned Spanish and French and I prepared to leave. Then, I met the love of my life and plans derailed and I ended up moving to another part of the U.S. since then, this place has been devastating to me, but until now, I did not have a clear stable path to an exit.
