@vale@fedi.vale.rocks Was just thinking that, yeah! I'm using CSS custom properties and HTML to animate frequency data. HTML-in-canvas is almost the perfect use case for that, I think.

@vale@fedi.vale.rocks Still, I was surprised just `filter: url(#turbulence)` on the parent element would have that much impact.
