@julieofthespirits@kolektiva.social how i wish i could get that understanding through to the people who once argued at me that there was no reason copies of Mein Kampf should be available for historical research and that it shouldn't be sold anywhere

@jake2@kolektiva.social I have not read mein kampf (I almost did it once but only got through the translator's introduction that was like IN THIS BRAVE NEW TRANSLATION WE HAVE CORRECTED NONE OF HITLER'S RUN ON SENTENCES OR MIXED METAPHORS. IF THE PROSE IS SHIT THAT IS THE AUTHENTIC VOICE OF HITLER) but yeah there's good reasons to want to read it!
