@jake2@kolektiva.social I have not read mein kampf (I almost did it once but only got through the translator's introduction that was like IN THIS BRAVE NEW TRANSLATION WE HAVE CORRECTED NONE OF HITLER'S RUN ON SENTENCES OR MIXED METAPHORS. IF THE PROSE IS SHIT THAT IS THE AUTHENTIC VOICE OF HITLER) but yeah there's good reasons to want to read it!

@julieofthespirits@kolektiva.social @jake2@kolektiva.social When I finally got hold of a copy, (had to read every book banned by my school for personal reasons), it was such a let-down. Written by someone whom I found quite "uncomplicated" if I'm being super kind. Could have been any privileged late teen's "manifesto", angst and all.
