Really wish people would stop using the hashtag #Brussels to talk about the #EU. Brussels is a city with over 1M inhabitants. We don&#39;t have another hashtag. Our city is not just a synonym for the EU.

@xavier@sunny.garden 💯 % agree. I remember this doesn’t help me prepare for my move to #Brussels. And now, I’m not following the hashtags and I'm sure missing many interesting posts, events, and more.

@xavier@sunny.garden Yeah it kind of grinds my gears when the press says "Brussels decided such and such" my dudes that's the European Parliament not the city not its people not even its status as a capital city. (he says while sat at a stone's throw from Place du Luxembourg)
