Thanks to a hint by @eric st-laurent I'd like to recommend John Kameel Farah + Nick Fraser on "Farahser", a brilliantly brief study on piano, drums and electronics, that goes anywhere between far-translated baroque music (you won't recognize it anymore), (hearing even Olivier Messiaen), "contemporary" jazz, not the kind, where players celebrate themselves rather than music itself. -&gt; "players that thrive in spontaneous settings, but whose main artistic foc...

Uns wurde denn eine 32-jährige Gasetagentherme doch noch durch eine moderne ersetzt, obwohl es bereits offensichtlich Möglichkeiten gibt, solche durch Wärmetauschanlagen in gleicher Einbaugrösse wirksam zu ersetzen. Vermieter, obschon ein Netter und in Berlin, hatte denn doch keine Bereitschaft, zu reagieren, und etwas Neues in Gang zu setzen. Die alte, 1994 hergestellte Therme, hatte übrigens bereits einen Wärmetauscher, weil das gesetzlich so vorgeschrieben ist. Was aber wohl nicht vorgeschrie...

Alle guten Dinge sind drei? Well, anyhow, a third finding from Bex Burch' line-up of their later show in Berlin today. Training Band: GruppenTRAINING - a suitable title i guess, cause that's what they did. Johannes Schleiermacher (sax, flute, synth) + Max Andrzejewski (drums, synths, electronics, voice) edited takes from 5 live occasions incl. a whole big cast of collaborators into a long-form two-track release, free music again, yet focussed and nicely otherworldly at times. Works well...
