@thomasbeagle@mastodon.nz Have you ever seen the politics of your average nerd??? Like holy shit I am appalled by your average nerd's politics. Not every nerd has horrible politics. Many do. Most of the ones that aren't "if the child consents" style libertarians are technofascists. You think people would know that by looking at the politics of most sci-fi authors.
