But if you want to bring a UniFi Protect camera with you — say, to make sure your dog doesn’t hop on an Airbnb’s furniture — I don’t think that’d be possible “your” way.
Additionally, few travel routers have Tailscale support. I have a glinet that does, and it’s clunky as hell.
Further, this hardware is astonishingly tiny. So much easier to carry/pack. And way cuter too! 😆

@caseyliss@mastodon.social Oh 100%. I bought one immediately too. I just didn’t know if I should use teleport or my tailscale setup (I have the glinet router too, but it uses a version of tailscale so ancient that tailscale warns me about it). Thanks. I will give teleport a try. I assume I don’t have to do anything funky with tailscale if I turn teleport on. It will continue to just magically work as it always has.
