@caseyliss@mastodon.social Oh 100%. I bought one immediately too. I just didn’t know if I should use teleport or my tailscale setup (I have the glinet router too, but it uses a version of tailscale so ancient that tailscale warns me about it).
Thanks. I will give teleport a try. I assume I don’t have to do anything funky with tailscale if I turn teleport on. It will continue to just magically work as it always has.

@TheJesusFish@mastodon.social tl;dr, yes. 🙃 Long answer: I will still run Tailscale on my devices — even behind Teleport — because I refer to so many things as host.funny-name.ts.net. Which breaks when I'm not on my Tailnet, obviously. I really like that Teleport makes it easy to get my family's stuff all behind encryption and behind the pihiole with zero fuss. You can absolutely do this with glinet, but as you said, their TS implmentation is old and, IMHO, disappointingly janky. Especially around exit nodes.
