@cocoaphony@mastodon.social the way the tooling is lagged so far behind the evolution of the language has been really infuriating and demoralizing, to be honest. It's felt like Xcode has gone from a best-in-class IDE to a mediocre-at-best experience. I sincerely hope something changes. Task-aware debugging is just one step along the way.

@davedelong@mastodon.social @cocoaphony@mastodon.social when was Xcode best-in-class? This is an honest question from someone that used it daily from 2007-2019, and probably weekly/monthly since then.
