@davedelong@mastodon.social @cocoaphony@mastodon.social when was Xcode best-in-class? This is an honest question from someone that used it daily from 2007-2019, and probably weekly/monthly since then.

@davedelong@mastodon.social @cocoaphony@mastodon.social I guess I should also ask how you measure best-in-class. Xcode was always the best looking IDE, and its performance monitoring and leak detection tools are indeed very good to maybe best. I never did any OpenGL or Metal development, so I can't judge it on that basis.
