@julienw@pouet.chapril.org @gruber@mastodon.social Yep, there are, I’m sure. I have personally fought to make sure that Chrome is a good platform citizen on macOS and I’m certain that there are similar folks who care at Mozilla.

@avidrissman@mas.to @julienw@pouet.chapril.org @gruber@mastodon.social Chrome and Edge are the only browsers on macOS that add a persistent background updater under System Settings -> General -> App Background Activity. Chrome also has the distinction of still bundling the infamous Keystone binaries. Not a good Mac platform citizen.
