@webology@mastodon.social maybe this conf env module needs it's own forum post to drum up some support. Easier to implement and the fact every man & his dog has a third party package to do this tells us it's well used by many.

@markwalker@fosstodon.org Maybe so. I'm pretty picky about this and settled on environs[django] as my go-to after issues from everything else. Pulling it into Django might be a win, but it'd be great to have some of this built in to support ENVs with this library to fall back on for custom settings.
