@jloc0@mastodon.sdf.org yes, lately, as I mentioned before I use the -Current iso. Sometimes I leave xfce on (to be removed later) or just deselect all DE's. Then git clone from Codeberg and start using my slackpkgplus.conf et al. Since you symlinked many things it's quite easy to find all pkgs for niri with slackpkg and then install. I've been refraining from displaymanagers (except with KDE) lately and just start mango or niri from the cli.

@thesaigoneer@social.linux.pizza yeah thats a good way to do it. I create start scripts in my $HOME for things and run them from there or I have GDM run on boot if I'm going for a gnome session but that's not the norm usually.
