@5teverin0@toot.community My son waited until he was almost 19 before he got his license. I was beginning to wonder if he was ever going to drive.

@thepdog@mas.to Maybe it's because I grew up in a rural area, where you couldn't go anywhere or do anything without a car, but I was taking that test as soon as I could. Kids today, at least where I live now, seem to be in no hurry. I'm torn between the anxiety I will feel when he is behind the wheel, and the relief I will feel when I don't have to drive him everywhere.
