@thepdog@mas.to Maybe it's because I grew up in a rural area, where you couldn't go anywhere or do anything without a car, but I was taking that test as soon as I could. Kids today, at least where I live now, seem to be in no hurry. I'm torn between the anxiety I will feel when he is behind the wheel, and the relief I will feel when I don't have to drive him everywhere.

@5teverin0@toot.community Speaking from experience, the relief will be much greater. Also, by being older, your son will be less reckless than if he were 16 and driving.
