TL;DR yes, I very much get your point. From a long, long term strategic point of view, it is also ineffective in the extreme.
You keep splashing buckets of water against that brick wall you mentioned, hoping that some generations later erosion will have worked in your favour.

@ZDL@mstdn.social My real point here is that IMHO change always needs all three: - It needs inflexible people to point in the right direction, and keep pointing there. - It needs flexible people to make small change happen, and be content with that. - It needs constant repetition of this.
