@ZDL@mstdn.social My real point here is that IMHO change always needs all three:
- It needs inflexible people to point in the right direction, and keep pointing there.
- It needs flexible people to make small change happen, and be content with that.
- It needs constant repetition of this.

@jens@social.finkhaeuser.de @ZDL@mstdn.social though inflexibility on morals can be combined with flexibility on methods (that align with those morals) within a single person. and i strongly suspect that flexibility on methods is the one that matters for affecting change on reality.
