@sikkdays@ourempty.pub I do but I can't imagine not scarring or marring the beautiful aluminum enclosure doing it by hand.

@Ricardus@mastodon.sdf.org I have the extension thing with the smaller hand-wand, I forget what it is called. I often put it in a vice and then use both of my hands with the rock I am carving. It feels more stable to me and there is the bonus of getting my fingers closer to the spinning blade. I was thinking electrical tape over the aluminium to protect it. I just assumed you had steady hands to do all that soldering. 😅
