@sarajw@front-end.social and i think another important aspect here is that computers are highly complex general purpose devices, whereas something like a phone or TV is extremely narrow in its uses and interface, so the learning burden is dramatically lower

@beka_valentine@kolektiva.social modern smartphones are pretty complex though. It surprises me still how much I can get done on them now, which I before would definitely have needed a computer for.
