@hollie@social.coop This happened to me. Three years trying to get doctors to listen to me, only to be told a) it was all in my head b) I was attention seeking, when, in fact, I had colon cancer.

@hollie@social.coop I think its good that people, especially women and people who are afab, are talking about this right now. It really is a problem and is good to bring to the attention of others. I have anxiety and one medication for it gave me severe migraines for several years. It was brushed off as anxiety and my meds were not changed for 7 years. Even when people have anxiety their symptoms and side effects need addressed.
