Friend mentioned that Nova launcher has some kind of AI integrated. Checked, expensive as hell subscription based shit. Can ignore. My problem with Nova is &quot;it is too hard to find something as good&quot;. Widgets from edge to edge. Folders which look like icons and have multiple actions depends do you tap or slide. Tabs in app drawer (I have five tabs to group apps by type). Someone mentioned Lawnchair. It survived 20 seconds. Widget margins, folders being folders. Launcher selection is hard.

@hrw@society.oftrolls.com the thing to keep in mind with Nova is that none of the original developers are working on it and I think the company only has a one or two people working on it after it got acquired (by some venture capital bs) I basically consider it bloatware at this point. I switch to smart launcher which actually has a nova configuration importer now

@hrw@society.oftrolls.com had same issue. Tried many different launchers after first… and then second issues with ownership and bloating Nova. Had no success. Then I switched phone to Pixel and just use the stock launcher. Kinda get used to it after a while…

@hrw@society.oftrolls.com yeah... still using Nova (after recent conflict) and was kinda hoping it would get opens sourced as promise but sadly it didn't materialise... at least they are not pushing ads :/
