@andrewg@mastodon.ie to be fair, I lost a number of connections and communications who I appreciated to interact with. But even before musk took over, my usage was fading. I heart that social media engagement how we knew it, is generally fading?

@hpk@chaos.social facebook was already “social media for old people” long before I left. And I think the younger generations are less likely to go on traditional big social media in the first place, because they’ve grown up understanding that it’s toxic. But they just moved to different social media like snapchat and now tiktok, which aren’t necessarily better, just different…
