@hpk@chaos.social I definitely don’t see any social media as an approximation of reality. But in the days when “everyone” was on the same one or two social networks, social media at least overlapped with reality to a significant extent. You are one of the vanishingly small number of people I know in both fedi and the physical world, and that’s because we share an *even smaller* subculture! 🤣 I wouldn’t give that up for all the money in the world. But I miss my other social circles…
