@narF@mstdn.ca @ABScientist@forall.social @User47@vmst.io I don’t think this is the case for me. I try not to chalk up to malice what can be explained by ignorance/complacency. They spent a ton of money on an office in the most expensive place in San Diego. They want people there using it. I don’t think it goes farther than that honestly outside of what I consider the poor business decision of not just renting rack space somewhere for the remaining on prem servers and divesting from the office expense entirely.
