@tamami@sfba.social My mom has a fascination with the dead and celebrities, and growing up a couple hours from Los Angeles, we often went to LA to do things like go to the cemeteries to find the resting places of dead celebrities. Totally normal thing to do, right?
One time we visited the children's section of a cemetery, I don't remember why, but I got an eerie feeling leaving there that day. Then stuff would happen at home. The washing machine would turn on in the middle of the night, dishes would be pulled out of the cabinet, lights would flicker, and alarm clocks would randomly go off in the middle of the night.
Mom finally had enough and one night after the alarm went off in the middle of the night, said out loud "come to school with me tomorrow, you'll make lots of friends there." (she was kindergarten teacher)She's not even sure why she said this, but it worked. The following day nothing happened at homed, and the night passed uneventfully. When mom went to work the day after, the kids' art had been rearranged, and paint jars were open. The whole time she taught at that school, weird stuff would happen after hours, but I guess the ghost was happy.

@somcak@beige.party I wonder if the ghost whispering genes run in your family?!
