@buckfiftyseven@mastodon.social there are about 20 flying about at the moment. Because there are two Red Kites circling at high altitude above thier roost. The young ones are very noisy demanding food and attention. Upside to almost constant crowing is watching the young ones flying. One just circled above the beach tree about five times and seemed to be yelling in excitement 🤷♂️😜

@BitchinRob@weird.autos once I tried telling N that the ravens were okay actually, and we could make friends. I had a bagel handy so I tore it up and threw it down the hill. A raven flew down, picked up the piece of bagel, flew back up on the fence, stared me straight in the eye, and dropped it on the ground. I didn't go searching for meat, but I got the message.
