Another 🤩 garden bird hearing / sighting. A family of kestrels 😍 We often saw single birds hunting along river bank at old house but it’s the first time I’ve seen a family with a youngster having flying lessons I assume.

Having a #woodenhouse has its advantages, it’s well insulated from heat and cold although less isolated from sounds outside. So we get to hear birds whenever there would otherwise be silence in the house. It’s positively noisy outside in the garden today.

Ugh, sorry my mobile data is so bad I can’t keep y’all updated with photos on all the #WeirdHouse #WoodenHouse discoveries & renovations until internet arrives Even that is proving difficult because although I can see the closest telegraph pole from my kitchen window we can’t create enough clearance over the road for the line 🙄 And neighbour understandably doesn’t want my fibre cable almost touching his roof if we use one on our side of road 😮💨 There will be a big vomit at some stage hopef...
