@danirabbit@mastodon.online I’m holding my nose and voting Becerra because the alternatives are far worse—Steve Hilton and Chad Bianco are Trumpers. I also consider Tom Steyer is a billionaire spoiler and a danger to the November ballot.
I think Katie Porter will not get enough votes to matter, though she would be my top choice in an actual primary.
FWIW IMO California no longer has a functioning primary system. Thanks to the stupid Open Primary, we effectively have a gubernatorial election in June and a runoff in November, and I’m treating it accordingly.

@drahardja@sfba.social Yeah I agree that unfortunately it doesn’t seem Katie Porter is viable and we have to vote with the numbers here. Steve Hilton is polling way ahead unfortunately. But Steyer and Becerra are both polling ahead of Chad Bianca. So honestly I think I’m voting for Steyer. Becerra is pro oil drilling, it’s insane. I see him a regressive candidate. I’d rather take my chances with the guy that at least claims to have a progressive platform
