@IndyRichard@mastodon.scot Wow, that's mindblowing. I wouldn't have thought enough non-Scotland born people would've moved there to have been able to sway the whole vote.

@IndyRichard@mastodon.scot It's a cheek, as well. Because even as someone who wasn't born in Scotland and isn't Scottish, to me if you want to be ruled by Westminster, live in the country that is under the sole rule of Westminster. "I want to live in the U.K. but I also want to live in Scotland, and I also want to make sure Scotland doesn't leave the U.K." is a mindset that doesn't make sense to me. Like some kind of fundamentalist settler mindset. It's not as though the independence movement is a surprise.
