@IndyRichard@mastodon.scot It's a cheek, as well. Because even as someone who wasn't born in Scotland and isn't Scottish, to me if you want to be ruled by Westminster, live in the country that is under the sole rule of Westminster. "I want to live in the U.K. but I also want to live in Scotland, and I also want to make sure Scotland doesn't leave the U.K." is a mindset that doesn't make sense to me. Like some kind of fundamentalist settler mindset. It's not as though the independence movement is a surprise.

    @IndyRichard@mastodon.scot (I can appreciate a small number of people might have reasons like family or moving there for work, but in general... ) It's like moving to a place then saying you don't want it to be what it is.
