I miss System 6 and earlier. Those were good days.

@mason@partychickens.net I know in all honesty I don’t miss those old operating systems and Macs, I miss how the made me FEEL. I created my personal website as a near pixel perfect homage to System 6-7 and HyperCard and I dearly loved doing it. But I do remember wishing for colors a bigger screen, a laser printer, etc. I have all those things now, but it don’t feel the same way inside as when I was 18 with a Mac SE/30. That’s what nostalgia feels like, I think. A warm happiness of being in the moment.
