Woah, those are nearly 200 (good/humorous/useful) suggestions! Nearly all of them do provide insights on what each of you thinks is the most important thing about Codeberg in a sentence, which is very useful for us to know as well! 😄 (No matter if we came up with a tagline, adjusted one of yours or chose "the best one" as-is, we'd have to discuss amongst ourselves anyway. So I prefer pushing towards building open culture spirit. Here are my suggestions: "A Step Towards Open Culture" "The tip of the Open Culture"

@Codeberg@social.anoxinon.de #codeberg My first instinct was to implement mountain/summit/peak signified, but after some thought I concluded that it would be simultaneously obvious and forced. However, referencing the vastness and untamed nature of mountainous landscape would be more subtle: "Untame your code" "Your code, untamed" "Code Without Limits" "Open code, open horizons" Or my personal favourite: "Where code roams free"

@Codeberg@social.anoxinon.de as far as the original slogan is concerned, I also find the second half difficult. No matter how often you explain it, many people think of “free beer” rather than “freedom.” I always associated Codeberg with "iceberg”, so I'm thinking along those lines. "Cool” has already been mentioned. But I think something along the lines of “there's a lot more going on beneath the surface” could also be a good fit.
