@Tinu@mastodon.social wait, you posted a BLM image and somehow it got tagged as sensitive? What the actual fuck. Even though I'm a server admin, I don't know the internals of mastodon that well and assumed there was no automatic moderation of that type. Maybe another #MastadonAdmin can chime in here? I have more to say about this whole thing. Part of me wants receipts but not because I need proof. I know everything you've said is true. I just want to rage. Probably best you didn't name names. I'm incensed.

@Tinu@mastodon.social I may be wrong, but I think if the post has CWs the image is automatically marked sensitive. I'm no expert though, still learning this platform myself.

@Tinu@mastodon.social I think I figured out what happened here as I just ran a quick test. When you respond to a post with a CW it automatically enables a CW on your response. It looks like you undid that by hitting CW but even doing that if you upload an image it defaults to having the flag for sensitive media enabled.

@Tinu@mastodon.social My best guess is that you accidentally checked the "mark media as sensitive" checkbox; try editing your toot and see if it is checked (if so, just uncheck it and save) 😄
