We need to redistribute wealth away from billionaire corporations and put it back into the hands of our communities.

@ScottishGreens@mastodon.scot I’d like to suggest that’s not the correct approach. Referring to reporting by @pluralistic@mamot.fr: Amazon takes a 50% cut of every thing sold by vendors on top of the payola they must fork over in order to win top search rankings. He has mentioned that page 2 products are often 25% or more less expensive than the top search results. Amazon contractually for bids them from offering a lower price anywhere else 1/2
