@TomF@mastodon.gamedev.place It's not "annoying" but it's like "for all this time I spoken English now I am going to speak Greek". The method is 'different' but gives you 'a total insight' about how a GPU really works. Which is very interesting IF you are interested in that .. "if you just want results of a higher level" .. well .. "better leave this to someone else" .. It's a bit 'someone gave you ASM and told you have FULL CPU control" .. which is true BUT .. but of course you have to do it all by yourself now.
