@sunumbral@beige.party I always get curious meandering through neighborhoods and see what was regularly planted when the houses were built.

@KayJanes@mstdn.social I had a field botany class, which was usually up in the hills, out in the desert, collecting, peering through lenses, but one day we wandered through the well-well-off neighborhood next to the university and discussed their landscaping choices 😆
