@housepanther@social.goblackcat.com I dislike Netgear. Their stuff is crap, but cheap, which is why many people buy it. If I wanted a router on sale at Walmart for $30–40, you know Netgear would be the first thing on the list. However, it would also be the first company to end support for its product and suggest you buy a new one. There was also that scandal a few years back where the solution Netgear posted after realizing they had made a defective device was to tell people to buy a new one. @Linux@mivatter.com @nixCraft@mastodon.social
