So, I've got all these administrators who privately said they agree with my evidence, but they don't want to deal with the drama.   True freedom of speech, free from hate speech, is not found in North America or Europe. Oddly enough, it is found in Asia. Look for a Mastodon or Misskey server in Japan or South Korea that welcomes English posts. As long as you share your personal opinions politely and back up your factual claims with evidence, your content will be allowed. True freedom of expression and speech on the Fediverse is truly found in Asia.

  You ever notice, they don't ignore me, nor do they defend themselves. It is always character assassination and a demand for oppression. Why? Well, they cannot prove themselves. You only have their word. And they cannot afford to be blocked; it would cut into their profits. A normal person would accept that there was some skepticism and criticism. A business, or in this case, a scam group always plays public relations and damage control.

  It’s a big ask, but Mastodon 5.0 needs to drop backwards compatibility for legacy versions. Ancient instances running v1, v2, or v3 should no longer be allowed to federate with modern servers. 1st, it’s a massive security liability. Running unpatched code from 2018 makes these zombie servers prime targets for botnets and spam relays. Cutting them off would instantly eliminate a major source of malicious traffic and protect the modern Fediverse from exploits originating on abandoned nodes. 1/3

  I am Al Gore of the Fediverse! 🤣 Or at least, that is what @Ciela@mastodon.ie once called me, and today, I feel that comment holds so much truth. Al Gore was right when being right wasn't popular. Because he had the nerve to warn us that climate change was a crisis requiring massive policy shifts, the media and politicians painted him as the crazy uncle everyone should be ashamed of.
