    I’m now seriously thinking of starting a non-profit dedicated to helping communities build their own networks to interconnect with the internet. The internet is meant to be free for all. And free from government surveillance.

    I’m hoping someone out there can help me or direct me to a resource about setting up WireGuard on OPNsense. I’m behind CGNAT and want to remotely access my home network so I have a cloud VPS. I am able to get a handshake between the the endpoints but cannot do anymore than that. Halp! #FreeBSD #WireGuard #OPNsense #VPN

    Public transportation in Delaware is an absolute quagmire. I depend on it and there’s no accountability for drivers that show up 10 minutes or more early or very late. They get a slap on the wrist and a , “Don’t do that again! Bad!” Meanwhile the consequences for me are real. I face punishment for being late. To avoid being late, I must take Uber or Lyft. Being poor is not easy. #transit #reliable #now #publicfunding

    The only thing I use #chatgpt for is to help generate ideas for computing and my home lab. Everything that it generates must be thoroughly checked but it is nonetheless useful.

    Just got the official word down the pike that starting 1 June, my hours at work will be reduced to 16 hours a week on the weekends. I work in security and I was splitting my time between two sites for a total of 32 hours. This is going to hurt. I have a lead driving for the VGM Fleet under Uber. It pays $23 an hour under 1099 and no benefits. I hate the US of A. We&#39;re the shit hole country.

    I am just curious for all you folks that run home computer labs. How do y&amp;#39;all handle DNS? I use dnsmasq because it is pretty powerful and does dynamic DNS automagically. #homenetworking #homelab
