Why don't you have all the satellite trails that people are constantly whining about here? Could it be because you use software that helps you not only stack the images properly but erases those trails? Or maybe you just didn't get any in any of your shots?🤔

@mlanger@mastodon.world I got hundreds of the damned things 😭 The stacking software used for this is built into the device, I don’t actually know what algorithm it uses. There are still two faint trails visible, zoom in on the bottom left. I also changed the brightness and contrast of this image, so they stand out less. After all, the goal is to show a pretty comet and not Elons spam constellation.
