    @tomasino@tilde.zone I _think_ Predestination (2009) is the same species as 12 Monkeys, but it's arguably a more explicit example of a time loop with an ontological paradox in it.

    @tomasino@tilde.zone https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jumper_(2008_film) had an interesting idea in that you could jump back and change the present. So criminals do it a lot. As far as the idea itself, however, I guess it’s Back to the Future style (or I’m misremembering the details).
