@p4pa@infosec.exchange @JessTheUnstill@infosec.exchange @pathunstrom@ngmx.com has it occurred to you that fascism is surging in the mainstream rightwing and that maybe a mainstream party can be fascist? Popularity, the only measure of what is 'mainstream', is a requirement for a sustained fascist movement.

@p4pa@infosec.exchange @McPoops@jawnuffin.xyz @JessTheUnstill@infosec.exchange @pathunstrom@ngmx.com moderate right supporters are fascists. They moderately support a party that systematically takes away rights from others.

@p4pa@infosec.exchange I guess you can always find exceptions, but I very seldom see moderate US right-wing figures referred to as fascist. Biden, Harris, Clinton, Obama, Pelosi, Schumer… none of the prominent leaders of the moderate right are regularly called fascists. @McPoops@jawnuffin.xyz @JessTheUnstill@infosec.exchange @pathunstrom@ngmx.com
