I'm rather shocked at the Glen Hansard news. We lived on the same street when we were kids. RIP #Mastodaoine

It's not even 7am and it's sticky hot out. I was supposed to go.to.an outdoor disco this evening, I can't see that being in any way comfortable or fun in this.

Aw. Poor Croatia. My heart goes out to them. I've been watching more games than usual. I have no investment but I feel bad for Germany, Senegal and Croatia. I feel they should have won.

In a bar in Harlem. A majority Spanish area, but a very ethnic mix in this bar. The entire place just went absolutely nuts when Cabo Verde scored. The two guys in Argentinian shirts are looking absolutely bewildered as to the Cabo Verde support. We are here for Pico, but I think the rest of the bar just supports an underdog.

These are some of the NYorkers currently supporting Cabo Verde.

Aww. That was a lot of fun though. They played a great game. They certainly have nothing to be embarrassed about.

There were still fireworks going off at 7.30 this morning. #Eloise was a nervous wreck. She slept in a recess in the hall far away from windows. She couldn't be enticed into the bedroom. I really hope they've run out now and we're not in for another night of this.

So we are pretty disappointed that Stevie Nicks was in town and performed at the Bezos Met Gala but snubbed her die hard fans by not turning up and doing a surprise performance at #NOTS

I am going back to pilates today. Let's see how that goes. Back to work on Monday. My #newknee hiatus is ending. Back to regular life. If I learned anything it's that I could happily retire. I had absolutely no problem filling my days.

I've been working on this puzzle since shortly after my #NewKnee surgery. I do it while practicing bending my leg. It was one of the most difficult puzzles I've done, resorting to grouping the pieces by shape and then trial and error for the sea and the sky. Even the skyline was harder than you'd expect. But it's done now.
