I got a response from my MP as follows:
"Thanks for your email. It is disappointing to hear that UK-based campaigners have joined forces with right-wing Christian Group ADF International, to threaten Parkrun and other sporting organisations with legal action. This is truly an American culture-war import we can do without.

This isn’t the first time Parkrun has come under fire from ‘gender-critical’ campaigners – back in 2024 they received public criticism that their run time recording was organised by gender and not sex (participants can have their time recorded under the ‘Male’, ‘Female’ or ‘Prefer not to Say’ categories).
