If you are in or around San Francisco and have kids, you have got to check out the open days for mission science workshop.
Incredible array of things for kids to experiment with, build, take apart. And animals they can touch and learn about. I could not be more impressed and my kids are obsessed.

@minmi@sfba.social oh man. They used to have a really cool science discovery interactive exhibit in San Francisco, when I was a kid, and I loved it. Cannot remember what it was called.
