Before the human project on this planet comes to an end, I’m going to embark on something old-fashioned: a series of urban walks intended to excavate the layers of geography, history, struggle, infrastructure, technology and everyday making-do that sediment into our experience of place. I hope you’ll join me.

One of the questions I’m minded to ask is: what might a 21st century-native psychogeography look like, a psychogeography beyond Hawksmoor churches and the Place Saint-Sulpice? I guess we’ll find out, together.

@adamgreenfield@social.coop I'll follow with interest, having recently read this new book, The Psychology of Place. https://www.thriftbooks.com/w/the-psychology-of-place-a-guide-to-psychogeography-for-photographers-photographic-theory-into-practice_dr-graham-wilson/58781064/item/88858171/
